New layout

Well I can finally breathe a HUGE sigh of RELIEF!!!!!!!!!!! MY kiddies performed at our assembly today!!!!!!!! Its all over......that has been a huge stress the past week....I must say they did look pretty cute.

However, now its REPORT time!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhh..............does it ever end?!?!?!

Apart from that I am fine :o) Can you tell??? haha

I have been scrapping up a storm!!!!!!!! I did 3 pages yesterday!!!Thats lots for me, in all the spare time I have (huh!). I can share a couple with you now.....

The first, I have finally got a book of me cover page completed, and this page fits into the 123 Monthly challenge too!!! To use 3 patterned papers, transparency and flowers.

Products used: 2 sheets of Autumn Leaves patterned paper, 1 sheet of Jenni Bowlin patterned paper, Heidi Swapp kiwi small flower, Heidi Swapp photo corner, Bazzill Bitty Blossoms (Various colours), buttons, Autumn Leaves journalling block, metal butterfly, Kaiser Craft jewels, transparency sheet.

The next page is one I completed at Bons Scraps, a scrap site I am just loving at the moment. If I had spare cash right now I could easily spend it in the store, the prices are fantastic!!
The page was for the Monthly Layout Competition - to create a 'Mummyism' page - to scrapbook something your mum has taught you. My page is about how mum has taught me to appreciate the time spent with loved ones!!! The quality of the photo of the layout is terrible though!!! Much more vibrant in real life. This is using my Poppy Ink kit and some things from my stash.

Products used: Sassafrass pp, american crafts pp, jenni bowlin pp, american crafts hatbox chip letters, queen and co letters, heidi swapp chip letters, making memories flower, ek success letter stickers, heidi swapp clock, basic grey rub on

Well they're all the layouts I have to share, but hopefully I will have plenty more after this weekend. This weekend I am going to visit my lovely aunty in Melbourne, we are going to the Scrapbook Scene all day crop. It is on Saturday from 9.30am - 11pm. I am so pumped!!! Can't wait.....I am planning on getting stuck into some challenges at Bons and finish a mini album for a lady at work!! We will have to see.....

Other life (non-scrapping) is good. Went to Clint's best friends wedding two weekends ago. It was soo nice.....will have to share a couple of photos, though I am sure you will see them on scrapping pages soon!!! haha

We had tea on Saturday with a family friend of Clints and his girlfriend. She is from England and has been sharing 'sight-seeing talk' with us and photos. I am getting pretty excited!! We have around 7 months to go now, which really is not long, considering how fast this year has gone.

Well I am getting mega tired and need to go to beddy byes, take care, I'll post again soon, xoxoxoxo

By the way - I was quick enough to get those Finishing Touches rub ons! Did anyone else??

Like Free Stuff???? I certainly do!!

Thought I would give this a go, after all you gotta be in it to win it!!

I'm crossing my fingers that I'm not too late :o)

Some new pages.....

Well its been a little while since my last post. I only have a couple of new 'just for fun' creations to show.

I did thise pages on my scrap day with Carmen two sundays doesnt feel like that long ago but it has been a while since I have scrapped.....I've still scrap shopped though :o)

This page is a piccie of my brother when he was a bubba....he was such a cutie

Products used:
ki memories pp, bazzill cs, heidi swapp flower, queen and co ribbon buckle, heidi swapp chip letters, 3 bugs in a rug sticker, chipboard word, mme transparency.

This next page is another one of my brother, I am going through piccies of him at the moment. He was just gorgeous at the age he is in this photo. He loved his teddy, the wiggles, and this dungeons playset he is playing with.

This page is actually inspired by Mel Nunn's page in an issue of For Keeps. The stitching attracted me to the page, so I decided to do something similar. The page still needs 'something' I am just not yet sure what.

Products used:
Sweetwater pp, ki memories pp, autumn leaves pp, heidi swapp chip letters, making memories chip heart, making memories tiny letters, scrap fx arrow.

Above is a close up of the stitching.

I dont know if anyone has noticed but I have been experimenting with patterned backgrounds lately and I must say I am liking it. Think I will be doing it more often.

Other stuff.....heres the piccies of Clint and I taken recently, I was in search of a piccie without me having a double chin, and both of us looking nice. It took 4 shots to get one!!!! You can see from one of the photos he was getting tired of nice smiling shots in the end!

Will have to get those piccies scrapped soon.

Any other like if going fine....quite busy and crazy at the moment. I am getting exhausted so easily, I think it may be the mixture of kids though, they are pretty draining.

Health news....I have finally got my butt into gear to lose those kg's I have put on since I started teaching. One week into my health kick and I lost 3.2kg!! I am so pumped and motivated now, lets hope I can stick to it. To keep me motivated I have joined a 6 week Biggest Loser challenge (started yesterday) run by the talented Chris Millar, the ladies on there seem lovely and full of inspiration and ecouragement. I also find it better to be accountable to someone when trying to shed a few kgs, so having to 'weigh in' once a week I think will help!!! We will have to wait and see.

Well I have my beach scrap class this Friday, hens night Saturday and plans to spend mothers day with my mumma on Sunday.

Take care xoxxo
