Scrapbook Scene Fundraiser!!!!!!!

Well I am back from the weekend at my aunties and now back into the real world or housework, cooking and reports!!!!!!!!!! Help~!!!!!!!!!!!

Well apart from that little dilema, Mandy and I had a fantastic day at the crop with the Scrapbook Scene. The crop was to raise money for the depression foundation "Beyond Blue". Mandy and I had not been to a crop with this store so we were nervous about what everybody would be like. Silly us!!! They (everyone!) was lovely!!!! And we just had the nicest time.

We arrived in burwood around 9am and went to the kmart across the road before finding our seats at the crop. The room we had to crop in was quite large and everyone had plenty of room to scrap and spread out!

Once we got our seats we started to have a look around. There was a table full of items to be auctioned. I eyed off the new daisy d range (funky large rub ons used in layout below) in one of the packs and decided I HAD to have some. So Mandy and I had to head to their shop, only a few mins away from the crop. $60 later and with my Daisy D pp and rub ons, and some more, we returned to the crop!!!

After a shop, I thought the insiration would be oozing out of me, however it wasnt, and I didnt start getting some things done until well after lunch.

The first page I worked on was for the June 123 challenge, to use polka dots, birds and acrylic stamps. I used polka dot pp, bird rubs ons and star looking/fourish stamps in the bottom left corner of my page.

I thought my new Daisy D pp and rub ons would be perfect for this challenge and this is the result -

Products used: Daisy D patterned paper, daisy D run on, ek success letter stickers, maya road chipboard swirl, basic grey rub ons, urban lily run on, american craft rub on, kaiser craft jewels, lil davis acrylic stamp, ink.

Just loving the Daisy D stuff! Can you tell?!?!?!?

Next page I worked on was one for Bons Scraps challenge number 3, inspired by Fran.

Products used: Bazzill bling cs, heidi swapp chip letters, basic grey undressed hardware, heidi bling, american crafts rub ons, ek success letter stickers, paint, thread.

I also worked on a Grandma's Brag Book for a lady at work.....its not finished though..quite hard to do when they do not know the sex of the baby and I have NO photos!!

This morning Mandy and I got organised and went into her 'hut' to do some more scrapping.....

I finished the June Monthly challenge at Bons, picture I took turned out badly, so I will upload it soon and try again........And also completed a page for the 'Book of ?' challenge (I cant post any of them on blogger, they're secrets!!, haha).

Well I have to switch my brain off scrapping for the next few nights and get stuck into these reports! I will set aside some time each night though to do something 'scrapping' even if it is just browsing the net!!!

Hope everyone is well, I am still on a MAJOR HIGH after getting my acceptance!!!!!!! :o) That smile wont come off my face for a while!!!!!!!

Take care xoxoxox
