Quick post!

Well this is just a quick update. I got a couple of pages I have not posted yet.
First one is for my Chinese Whispers Layout. I was in Group One and I was the last person. Its quite different to the first one, if you want to see the others check out the gallery at Bons. Here it is:

Products used: Autumn Leaves Patterned paper, Hambly Graph paper, Creative Imaginations Patterned Paper, American crafts felt thickers, Autumn leaves journal spots and rub ons, ribbons, letter stickers.

The next is my first double layout in ages. I finished it last night. I had been wanting to do a double with these photos for a while!

Other news......the scrapbooking courses I have designed for a TAFE have been approved and are starting in the September Holidays!! Yea!!!!
I have a scrapping class this weekend with Mandy at Scraptacular in Mentone. I do not normally attend classes however we are making that beautiful 'Castle Album' that I have seen other bloggers make and it is just divine!! Mandy and I also have a retreat with Scraptacular the weekend of the 7th September, which we are REALLY looking forward to! Should be fun.

Last weekend was a quiet one......went shopping with mum to Werribee on Saturday and finally replaced my hagged boots and other work shoes! I'm loving my new boots! Then Saturday night Clint and I went to a engagement party. Sunday I pottered round the house, not doing much at all......visited some family......and procrastinated the day away!

Thats bout it.........but before I go......................

Charm nominated me as a Rockin Girl Blogger!!!
I think I am probably one of the last to get this! I will tag some Bons Girls- Rachael, Narelle and if you have not done it and are reading this I tag YOU!!
All you gotta do is tag three more people you think are Rockin' bloggers!!

Nothing interesting...

Well I do not have anything interesting to say really..... :o)

Last Wednesday was JRock, by the end of the day I swore I did not want to see another hairbrush, makeup or hairspray ever again! What a huge day it was! But fantastic! Our school did quite well and the kiddies had a ball!

The weekend was quiet. Clint and I went on a date to dinner and the movies which was lovely. We saw 'Knocked Up', it was HILARIOUS!!! Sooo funny!

On Sunday I met Carmen in town to catch up for coffee. I bought some PJs and thermals (how exciting!) and also the new Regina Spektor CD, I'm liking it too!
Scrapping wise, I have popped my head into a few new forums the last couple of weeks......its good and I love all the challenges different sites set, however, I find if I put the pressure on myself to scrap a bunch of challenges, it limits my creativity........its basically like I hit a wall! ahhh....I dont like it!

Ok well here are some pages!

The first is for the August 123 challenge. The challenge was to use green material, I used felt, sewing and something old. My something old is some MM trims I have in my stash.

Products used: LUXE patterned paper, Cherry Arte patterned paper, Making Memories Blossom and Trims, Kaiser Craft jewels, Scenic Route chipboard circle, Urban Lily rub ons, Autumn Leaves rub on, American Crafts foam thickers, Heidi Swapp plastic letters, felt, thread.

Next two pages are pages for the recent Scrap Therapy Cybercrop

Products used: MME pp, Autumn Leaves pp. Sassafras Lass rub ons, Making memories flower, American crafts red felt thickers and black foam thickers, thread, Frinkles, buzz and bloom chipboard.

Products used: Kaiser pp, Cherry arte pp, MME rub on, big brad, making memories rub on and letter stickers, American Crafts rub ons, Bella flower chipboard, MME frame.

This next page is one I have not posted that I did at the retreat a few weeks ago.

Products used: Jenni Bowlin patterned paper, KI Memories Patterned Paper, Queen and Co felt ribbon, Basic Grey Ribbon, Petaloo Flower, Heidi Swapp Bird sticker, Heidi Swapp plastic letters, lace, doodlebug letter stickers.

Well not much else to say........I'm still behind on a few scrapping things, but at the moment, I am really wanting to scrap for enjoyment, not because I have a challenge I want to enter :o) I still do love challenges though!

Fiona! I am glad to see you are back blogging! :o)

Thats all for me, I'll post again when I have something interesting to say or show!

Take care
