Yuck.....right now! *warning* BIG Post!!

Well here I am posting a blog update at nearly 2pm from home on a Tuesday.....why am I not at school you may be thinking?!?! Because I feel like poo! haha. This is my first sickie from teaching in nearly two years, what a record! I woke up this morning with a heavy, heavy head and major blockage in my nose! Yucky!! Worst I've felt in a long time. After calling work I had a nice sleep in and feel a little better. My nose is caining though, from blowing it so much, it's as red as a beetroot!!!

Oh well, enough of the 'sick' talk....not much has been happening here really.

I had a FANTASTIC weekend away with Scraptacular, oh my goodness, those girls are absolute pissers!! I'm hoping to catch up and go to a Sensational Weekend crop soon.....Mandy and I are in the process of organising dates. Silly me did not take any piccies of the weekend (well I did but on Mandys camera) so I will pinch one off Kim's blog. Here is a group shot from our 'Bling' dress up night. The costumes were hilarious!!

Mandy and I really enjoyed everyones company, we even had a burl on 'Singstar' so not a 'me' thing to do! The shop was fantastic and Mandy and I had a nice little spree, I was actually naughtier than her! Though I have been madly saving so I was bound to have a little hiccup somewhere!

In no particular order, here are the names of the lovely ladies we met : Kim, Julie, Deb, Cara, Mardi, Didi, Shazza, Robbie, Elle, Kelly, Ange, Wendy, Robyn, Rosemary, Hayley, Lisa, Caroline, Kylie, Allie, Kate, Linda, Kerry, Kim, Rachael & Jodie - Thanks Kim, I copy and pasted again!! :o) And the quote of the trip.......just to end my recount.....lovin' ya's all sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O.k .......what else to update???

Umm....school wise.....nearly the end of term!! Yeah!! Very excited about that.....I'm hankering for a good break! Only working School Holiday Program 4 days over hols and the TAFE teaching looks like its fallen through (not enough numbers) so I'll be resting a lot more.

Loving my kids at school at the moment, they have changed dramatically from the start of the year. I was leaving school at the start of the year so exhausted and they were so naughty! I have a good routine and clear expectations in my class so thankfully they have responded well, other teachers have commented on their improvement too, which is lovely!

Ummm......general life news???? Went to the travel agent to get some brochures.....it is all so overwhelming, and I am having trouble believing that we are actually gonna do this! I'm currently waiting for my full birth certificate to arrive, then I will have to apply for my passport and working visas and ofcourse finalise everything with booking tickets!!

Scrappy Chat..............I spent last weekend cleaning my scrap stuff out of the dining room and moving it into the study (where it should be). I wanted to organise my stuff so I knew exactly where to find things and so it is all easily accessible....I moved all the books from the bookshelf to the cupboard and have taken over the bookshelp with my scrap stuff. My 'pink' room finally now looks pink, with pretty storage boxes and a rug......beautiful.....will post piccies in my next post.

Other things.......I will be teaching a class at Chandon's 'Lend a Hand for Leukaemia - Scrapbooking Fundraiser Day'.....here are some details, its for a great cause and one that has great importance to me, after losing someone special to this illness.
