I've been busy!

Well, it's new years eve tomorrow and also gorgeous little Max-ys 1st birthday. So I decided to whip up tonight a nice lil album for him.

Photos used are from his trip to London with his mummy and daddy, Ray and Gemma. I went a bit camera crazy cos he is just too cute.

Products used on album were a bit limited unfortunately as some of my scrapping stuff is still in storage....I used a kaiser train as the base.

I took photos on my phone, it's 1am so not the best light! The album is still not bound either, will pop into Chandon and get some jump rings in the morning.

That's all for now...

Trying to think of my resolutions for the new year and my 'word' for the year....hopefully next update I can include it.

Happy New Year everyone!

Testing from my iphone

Wow....just downloaded a blogger app to my iPhone. This could be really cool.

Since I've updated twice tonight, I'll leave with a photo of my scrapping stash slowly taking over dads dining room.

And the owl bag I got from Michelle for Christmas.

Haha, this is cool!

A new page......

Wanted to update with my first page I have scrapped since coming back to Australia...used the B side of the new 'Origin' Basic Grey line......loving the graph paper look and my thickers from my studio calico kit. Tried to make this page look slightly dimensional by curling the corners of clouds and machine sewing the butterflies in the middle, then bending their winds inwards.

Layout title: I'm starting to feel....

Supplies Used: Basic Grey patterned paper, Sassafras Lass patterned paper, Scenic Route patterned paper, American Crafts Thickers, Making Memories alphabet stickers, Prima flower, Bazzill crochet flower, Kaiser Rhinestones, My Minds Eye Journaling Card, Basic Grey fabric brad, My Minds Eye Transparency, orange ribbon, staples.

Really happy with the style my scrapping has been taking lately.....not stressing me out, not taking hours on end - and I'm happy with the end result - can't ask more than that!

A new layout .....'Meeting Celine'

Well work has been quiet this week so I managed to scrap another layout today.

This page is for Bons Scraps November Room of the Month challenge...basically you need to create a layout inspired by this picture.

I used the pink, damask print, the vine in the cushion, the curve in the bed head, and the scattered cushions as inspiration.

This is a page of myself and Celine Navarro, who I met at PACS in Italy. The line up of teachers for classes next year oh my....Heidi and Celine, and others too but I would LOVE to do a class with Heidi and well Celine's classes were just the best this year. Wish I could be going there again next year!!!!!! But oh well.....will be home in Aus.

* Caught up with old work colleagues on the Friday night, was so lovely to see everyone, made me realise how much I miss them

* Clint and I spend the sunday just gone (8th Nov) strolling around London. Was a lovely day the city spent the day remembering the war victims, Remembrance Day activities and wreath laying all around.

* It's our anniversary today.... 7 years..... Love you babe xoxoxox

I scrapped!!!! ..... older post, trying to catch up!

Well last weekend Clint was away on a work/boys weekend Golf Trip in Belfast. So I had the house to myself.

On the Friday night I went out for Jess' leaving do. Jess is a lovely girl I met while teaching at my last school. She's an aussie too and originally from Ballarat. We get along like a house on fire, 'get' each other and I must say I have really valued her friendship over here. She is heading over to volunteer in an orphanage in India for a couple of months and then heading back to aus. for christmas....she has quite an adventure ahead of her.

Only got one picture from the night out.....

We went to this cocktail bar in Covent Garden, and oh my the drinks were delish. Then we headed to the 'Walkabout' in Temple....was a fun night!
I got some teary movies to watch on the Sat. night and had a quiet night in. I watched the Reader with Kate Winslet and He's just not that into You. Both movies I really enjoyed, cried in both, as I do, haha.

Finished this layout during the week too.

Layout Title: Putting on the Ritz

Products: My Little Shoebox patterned paper, vintage music paper, Doodlebug Frills in Black, Hambly Screen Print transparency, Pink Paislee letter stickers, American Crafts Thickers, Making Memories letter stickers, black lace, rhinestones, Prima flowers, buttons, coaster from The Ritz, staples, black thread.

Sunday I spent the morning pottering around and the afternoon scrapping 2 pages! Both of the pages are of Clint, probably cos I missed him while he was gone. I'm happy with them both but the quality of the photos I took are terrible.....I really need to get Adobe Photoshop so I can edit my layout photos like I used to.

Layout Title: Your Essential Cure

Products: Scenic Route patterned paper, American Crafts patterned paper, American Crafts Thickers, Basic Grey letter stickers, Making Memories letter stickers, Hambly Screen Prints transparency, Doodlebug Frills in Black, Ladybug and Bumblebee, Scenic Route Cardstock stickers, Scenic Route journaling spot, staples, food stickers.

Layout Title: This smile....

Products: Scenic Route patterned paper, Bisous Bzoo patterned paper, Scenic Route letter stickers, Making Memories letter stickers, Bisous Bzoo chipboard accents, Scenic Route cardstock stickers, rhinestones.

Felt good to spend some time scrapping....hoping I can continue doing some here and there.

Clint is back at work, working long hours at the same hotel. I have tried to pick up supply teaching, but from what I can understand - there is not a lot of work available. I am going to just have to be patient, and be grateful for whatever work I can get.

Half term break begins this Friday.....I have gotten a nannying job for the 10 days. I will be living with this family in there house in Wiltshire for the whole of the half term. I am really looking forward to this challenge of looking after these 3 little kiddies (15 month old boy, 4.5yr old boy, 7 year old girl).

Hopefully will update soon with the last of our Europe trip photos.....xoxo
