New layouts - Bons CC and White With One

Okies....just a layout share for today.

I had a scrapping day with my Geelong Bon's buddies Leonie and Marelle. It was lovely to sit and make the time to scrap - making it a priority, not just something I do if I have time left over.

I managed to complete two layouts, one I love and one I not so love.

The first, the one I like was for Bons Colour Challenge at the Cybercrop....challenge was to use black, cream, white and purple only, to use a non-portrait/face photo and to include a bulldog clip.....loved the challenge and surprisingly loved the colours (esp. with the papers I managed to find in my stash).

Layout is self explanatory really....

Layout title : The Ring

Second layout is the January challenge for white with one...challenge was to use white, royal or navy blue and banners - thats it, no extra colour at all. I found this TOUGH - I NEED my colour and I NEED to layer, just not happy with this one at all really....but here it is anyway.

I made the mickey bunting/banner on my own by tracing 3 circles....

Layout title: Disney Express.

Well thats it for now, another CHA 'love' sneak soon .... gee there is some nice stuff coming, my bank balance better watch out!

Where have the holidays gone?!?!

Gee, I cannot believe the holidays are nearly over.
SO MUCH has been happening here with me, and I feel like 'Little Miss Organisation' as I have been sorting out new home things (think we may have finally found some land and chosen the house to fit on it too!), organising wedding things (ceremony, reception and venue are now booked!), getting sorted for school, and when there is free time scrapping.

Currently I am working on something for a scrapping magazine, which I am excited about. My scrapping is certainly heading the direction I am always hoping it too, and I am pleased with how my pages look more now than I have ever been :)

Some more CHA sneaks have gone up and I am struggling to keep up with them all!!!!!!

Some things I liked the look of:
The new Girls Paperie range, love all the bits and pieces.

These Graphic 45 stamps, really just cos of the Eiffel.

This Prima range has some nice colourings.

On Thursday I caught up with the lovely Mel, we went and visited Fiona at the Imagination Factory in Ballarat. Wow! I was really impressed with the store as I had not yet seen it since I had been back from overseas....good range of products, well set out, very noice!!!

Then we went and had a lovely coffee and cute cake at a new coffeshop called "Cake" - very funky and some cool products....picked up some awesome doileys I'm hoping to use on a page soon.

Mel took me to my first Bridal Shop, tried on an awesome dress! Was very exciting, I now know what sort of a style I am after and that is going to make my life a lot easier :)

On the way home I decided to take a trip down memory lane and drive passed my University, the res, and then to Lake Wendouree. Just before we left to go overseas we I called past the lake and there was no water, the lake is now brimming and looked so beautiful, lots of people there walking and enjoying it....I wish I lived closer - I used to love that lake.

I took some pics on my phone....

Well, lots to do and no time to do things....so best be off.

Dont forget, only 6 more days to become a follower to enter my RAK....anyone can enter, you do not need a blog just an email addy/google account :)

Not a lot left on the agenda for the holidays, some meetings about home loans, a hair appointment, scrapping on Thursday with some lovely ladies, and thats bout it!! Then it'll be back to school and reality!

A few things...

My gosh , I just did a big post from blogger on my phone and lost it all!!!!

Here it goes ... Again

My heart goes out to all the people involved in the floods at the moment. I have a good friend who is on flood warnings at the moment in Victoria. I cannot even imagine what people affected are going through right now, I cannot comprehend or even imagine their thoughts and feelings. I am so proud to see on the news all the people of QLD and Australia lending a helping hand, even when the 'powers' are not doing quite as much as they could be.

On a lighter note, but a similar topic...oh where oh where is or Summer?!?!?!? My gosh, I do not even feel like we have had one. This was taken Tuesday on a trip to Melbourne, it was bucketing down!!!! I spent a few hours visiting my aunty and cousins, and luckily the way home was not nearly as bad.

On Saturday night, I went for a lil trip to Bons house in Melbourne for a scrap. Thanks Leonie for being my travel buddy. Was a lovely night, I always love catching up with the Bon's girls, and do not really even mind the fact that I may have to travel 1 1/2 hours to get there, although I must say I would love if they were a lot closer, then we could have lil crops all the time! :o)

I only have sneaks, as the light tonight is not too good in here.

First one is a sneak of a page for Stuck Sketches this month....my first go at a Stuck Sketch ever.....very happy with how this one came together.

This next layout is for Kraft it Up, my first page for this one too, this is Januarys challenge.

This is a card I have made for a special someone, I really should make cards more often, all I used was a sheet of cardstock for the base and some scraps of papers I've used recently. Its quite simple in design but I really love it.

Another CHA sneak I thought looked interesting - I think I would really like to see this one in real life before I say I LOVE LOVE it....

Thats it, will post the full layouts soon.
Two more weeks of holidays....gee they are going VERY fast.
Plans are to enjoy the last couple of weeks, get the house in order (clean out my wardrobe being number one priority), do some visiting and catching up with people and also scrapping - can't forget that!!

It's nearly that time of the year ... CHA

Well it's hard to believe it's CHA (craft and hobby association) soon and I have been checking out the 'sneak peaks' of some new lines available this year.

I sooo have some favorites already!

Here's one I *heart* soooo much: it's a new GCD Studios line.

I will be waiting ever so patiently for this line to hit our shores here in Australia.

Some other cool releases I found while blog surfing this morning

These trims from Websters Spring Market' line (I think that's what it was called). I LOVE the colours in these.

And these cool embellies from Prima....I could so imagine using these on a page to add that extra something.
Created another page last night for the January 1,2,3 Challenge ... Criteria was purple, to use punches and the word beautiful.

Enjoyed this challenge and it was a challenge as purple is not normally a colour I would use.

Layout title: so surreal...

I used some Bo Bunny papers here, lots of my punches (even busted out my corner punch!)

Was a great challenge and my first time completing a 1,2,3 in a LONG time...

Thats it for now, Clint and I are off to meet a photographer tonight about our wedding and see her folio. I'm a bit excited!
