Thanks for looking,  a new month is coming so lots more layouts to share really soon!

Plus, the A Piece of Cake Designs March Sale night has been announced! I recommend joining our Facebook event for the sale as some exciting giveaways will be taking place over the next week or so :)

We R Memory Keepers February Guest DT!

So excited to share the next page with you.

I am honoured and quite flattered to have been sent a collection pack of the Valentines themed 'Crazy for You' pack from We R Memory Keepers to create with for February. These papers fit perfectly with that special day Valentines Day on the 14th Feb.

You can see the entire collection by clicking here.

Given the theme of the papers, naturally I decided to create a layout of my boy and I on our wedding day. The photo in the layout was taken by Sara Taylor Photography

I recently invested in one of these babies:

I knew that We R Memory Keepers had 'cut files' available in the store so I decided to combine 'Crazy For You' files with the pack sent to me. This was actually, to be completely honest, my first cut with the machine so I am so happy with how it turned out!

I purchased the We R Memory Keepers cut files from the store-

hearts design

and the

cupid design

Heres the layout I created:

Layout title: Love you

Products used: We R Memory Keepers 'Crazy for You' papers and cardstock stickers, black cardstock, kraft card stock, Daler Rowney black ink, Black Archival Ink, We R Memory Keepers mini 'travel' stamp, Basic Grey mini mono alphabet stickers.

I'm certainly fan of layering and dimension, but in a more simple and balanced way. Here are a couple of close ups:

Here you can see I have created a background design and cut that first. I highlighted the cuts with pieces of the 'Crazy For you' papers and also black card stock to make the image pop.

Thank you for popping over to my blog and seeing what I created with this collection. I hope I have inspired you to purchase some of this gorgeous range and have a play!

Scrap the Girls Challenge using D-lish Scraps goodies

Tonight I'm here to share with you a layout I created for the current Scrap the Girls challenge using my design team supplies from D-lish Scraps. This is one of my favourite newborn photos of Charlotte and I thought these Crate Paper patterned papers were just the perfect fit for this picture. Team these papers with the absolutely gorgeous D-lish supplies and my layout was complete.

Layout title: 2 Days Old

Products used:

D-lish Scraps Products used:Pink monochome Flair button

Other products: Teresa Collins patterned paper
Crate Paper patterned paper
American Crafts Silver Glitter Paper

Some close ups:
A close up of the scrummy D-lish products :)

A seam binding bow, the FWAB swirl cut to look continuous through the layout and the monochrome pink flair.

I again added elements cut with my silhouette machine, including the title, cut with the American Crafts Glitter 'Pow' paper. This stuff cuts so nice with the Silhouette. I am just so addicted to my machine at the moment and have not created a layout recently without it!

This sketch was a nice way to showcase this photo of my little Charlie Roo, I love the simple design of it - however, I still was able to remain true to my style with the layering :)

Hope you like it! I will have a share on the D-lish blog really soon to explain in more detail the process I used to create this layout with the products :)

SUYS February and D-lish Scraps Sample

Today I am sharing a layout using gorgeous D-lish Scraps products for this months Show us Your Stuff Challenge.

This months challenge was to use the following picture as inspiration

Layout title: Love 2 Create

Every SUYS challenge requires a handmade item. My handmade item is my A Piece of Cake Designs Cherry Flair from the 'Everyday Brights' pack. This flair is designed, printed and hand pressed by me :)

I took the inspiration theme of 'creating' from the image.

Products Used: White cardstock, kraft cardstock, black card stock, Dear Lizzy Patterned Paper, Dear Lizzy diecuts, A Piece of Cake Designs 'Cherry Flair', American Crafts thickers, October Afternoon Journal Sticker, D-lish Scraps resin bird, D-lish Scraps pink carnation and forget me not flowers, D-lish Scraps metal feather charm, D-lish Scraps grab bag button, D-lish Scraps sequins, D-lish Scraps washi tape, Staples, Black Thread.

Don't forget, if you have little kiddies they could join in with Sophie's Corner at SUYS too, the challenge is to complete a layout with the theme 'school'.

If you liked any of the embellishment products used on this page you can get them here:

This months Scrapbook Creations :)

Have you seen this months Scrapbook Creation magazine? If you have you will notice I have a technique article and layout share in there :) So thrilled with the direction my scrapping and business is taking me this year, lets hope it keeps getting better and better.

Due to copyright issues I cannot share complete articles or layouts, you will need to buy the mag if you want to see more detail :)

My project, a layout about me expecting :)

I realised I haven't shared any pics of my gorgeous little girl recently, she is getting bigger and bigger each day! But oh so beautiful :)

Hair clips! Oh my lol

Getting more alert and grasping things

Love this face :)

Those eyes and eyelashes!

Sleeping so much better

Selfie with her mummy, she's not looking impressed

Her hair is getting longer and longer!

Snuggles with her dad. This one scares me cos she looks so old in the picture and she is only 4 months!

Australia Day celebrations!

Looking older here too:

Being an ornament on my shelf!

Teething already?

I know I am biased but isn't she just the cutest thing in the world!

I'll be back really soon to share another layout :)
