Layout Share - D-lish Scraps & Stuck! Sketches

I created this layout based on the June 1st Sketch at Stuck! Sketches. I find sketches are a great 'go to' when I am finding that my mojo has vanished momentarily.

This was the sketch:
Here is my interpretation:

Layout Share - Moments Remembered using D-lish Scraps and Studio Calicos 'Atlantic'.

Today I am here to share the latest layout that I created with my D-lish Scraps goodies. I recently brought the 'Atlantic' range by Studio Calico and thought that the papers would compliment my D-lish goodies beautifully.

This layout was completed 'just cos' and doesn't fit any particular challenge or theme, but of course features a photo of my little girl. I have so many photos to get through with scrapping that I am so pleased that I am slowly getting through my storytelling, one layout at a time :)

This layout will feature on the D-lish blog soon with a little mini step by step also so keep an eye out on their blog.

SUYS June layout using D-lish Scraps

Challenge for this month was to use the quote
Laugh as much as you breathe and love as much as you live
and a handmade item.

The handmade item I used was I made a heart banner using silhouette cuts and a sewing machine :)

Layout title: Life's Lesson #2

D-lish Scraps Products Used:

Other Products:
Papers: Kraft Card stock. White Cardstock,  Heidi Swapp 'Serendipity' Papers
Alphabet: October Afternoon Mini Market
Other: American Crafts Roller Date Stamp, Sewing Machine and white thread.

I cut the quote on my silhouette machine, the 'love' is actually a Heidi Swapp cut file from her digital store and the rest of the quote is just 'bebas' font which you can download from the net.

The white heart banner is my handmade item, plus the D-lish Scraps goodies :) I just love the sequin trim, so easy to manipulate into flourishes and shapes.

Overview of D-lish Products, so yummy!

Hope you have a chance to join in with the challenge!

Don't forget, the gorgeous embellishments I have used are available in the D-lish store. Click the D-lish Logo at the top of this post to check it out :)

Kraft It Up - June Challenge Layout share

Well today I am here to share my June layout sample for this month's Kraft it Up Challenge.

This month your challenge is to create a 'PROJECT LIFE' inspired layout, use a week out of this month, a minimum of three photos, more if you want to and you MUST journal about what has happened that week.

This was a bit of a challenge, as I have attempted Project Life pages in their traditional form but not using the design and theory principles on a layout.

Here is what I came up with:

Layout title: 7 Days of Us

Products used:
Card stock: Kraft
Patterned Paper: Fancy Pants, Vellum
Alphabet: American Crafts Thickers
Embellishments: Fancy Pants Stickers, My Mind's Eye enamel dots, D-lish Scraps metal flowers, D-lish Scraps resin flower, A Piece of Cake Designs Cherry Flair
Other: Sewing machine and white thread, American Crafts date stamp, Simple Stories stamps, Black Archival Ink, Typewriter, Doiley

Here are some close ups:

I used my Silhouette and a Silhouette Store cut file to cut the viewfinder out of Vellum.

Detail shots of the layering:

Thanks for looking :)

This months layout was a challenge, but thats what it's meant to be right?!? I hope you give it a go
