Of course I have chosen to use D-lish Scraps goodies for this page, as well as some new Studio Calico Atlantic Papers that I recently purchased.

Because this quote does not really fit her age, I decided that I would make her a Life's Lessons series of layouts where I include quotes with inspirational or self affirming statements I hope that she will read, understand and live by when she is older.

Thanks for visiting, don't forget to pop by the D-lish Scraps store if you see any embellishments you would like to get your hands on :)

Take care,

There is something new at APOCD Scrapbooking kits that I just had to share.

I am pleased to announce the newest addition to the APOCD Store....CUPCAKE KITS!

These kits have all the great flavours as our usual Main Cake Kits, but are bite sized pieces of perfection! Yum!

How are these different to all the mini kits out on the market you ask? Well, scrappers now tend to love to get messy and create their own recipes. That's where APOCD Cupcake kits come in.

These kits are packed with a range of 6x6 papers and other coordinating embellishments. But, what I love about these kits is that they will contain either a mask, stamp or mists, paints, inks, pens, etc. You get the idea! It allows you to add that texture and dimension that you love to a page. All packaged up, coordinated beautifully, waiting and ready just for you! If you love Project Life, these could work for you too.

So without further adieu, here's the May Cupcake Kit:

As you can see from the image, this kit is beautiful. It contains 12 6x6 papers from the new My Minds Eye 'Find your Wings and Fly - Up and Away' line, 1/2 a pack of coordinating enamel dots, a Doodlebug Designs Alpha sheet that contains three different alpha sets, A Studio Calico Mask, Sei Mint Tumble Dye mist, Bella Blvd Washi tape, 2 Exclusive APOCD Flair especially made to coordinate with the kit and a selection of veneers, tickets and sequins.

We will also have 'Cake Bases' available in store which is card stock, available in packs or in individual sheets.

Here is the kit in more detail:

I CANNOT WAIT to share who I have Guest Designing with our first ever Cupcake kit!!!! So excited as this lady is just oozing creativity.

Sale of the kits will be this coming Monday with our Main Cake Kit and Cherry Flair. They are limited in number.

Subscriptions are not currently offered and this kit will be sold on a first come, first serve basis for the month of May. There is a possibility of beginning subscriptions from June onwards for either a 3, 6, or 12 month duration. Email me at raquel@apieceofcakedesigns.com.au if you are interested.

Would love to hear what you think of our first ever Cupcake Kit.

And just to tempt you even more I have made my first video showing the cupcake kit in more detail :)

May SUYS Challenge using D-lish Scraps goodies and APOCD Cherry Flair

Today I am here to share with you my May sample for this months Show Us your Stuff challenge blog. The challenge this month is to use texture paste/modelling paste somewhere on your layout (and a handmade item). I find that I add this or mists a lot lately, but because of my layering style I tend to cover up a lot of the prettiness.

Anyways, I have also used a selection of D-lish Scraps goodies (you can click the image above to go to the store).

Before I share my layout I wanted to add that Amanda has been getting some even more gorgeous products in lately. Including the awesome Motex packs with funky tapes. I know my Aunty has already gone and purchased one and one of all the tapes. I have this and the tapes on the way too and can't wait to play! And its pink too of course :) There are more on there way to the D-lish store so keep an eye on the store or the Facebook page.

Anyways back to my layout:

Layout title: Don't Cry Baby Girl

I have used modelling paste mixed with pink paint and a template. As you can see I do end up covering quite a bit, not intentional, but it just happens.

Forget Me Nots - Hot Pink
Carnations - Pink

May 123 Challenge - Oh Happy Day

This months 123 is the following

This one stumped me a little at first with the balloons, but now that I have my trusty silhouette machine I knew I would be able to figure it out.

I also used the April APOCD Kit to complete this layout and found the colours in this kit perfect for the challenge but also perfect for the photos I chose. I know christmas has been and gone, but I have quite a few photos that I took for Charlotte's first christmas and couldn't leave these ones un-scrapped.
