These two = Perfection

Today I decided to have a play with a recent scrappy purchase I'd made. The Bella Rouge collection by Pink Paislee. This collection is truly after my heart with the pink, white, grey tones and pop of black. So so pretty. Plus the icons in the die cut and chipboard packs = too cute! Perfect for my style.

As you saw from my previous post yesterday this collection had been sitting calling my name since last night.

I decided at the last minute to create a process video also for this layout. You can find it below the full layout share here.

This photo was only taken on the 15th of January. It is rare for me to scrapbook such a recent photo however this picture sums up everything I just totally adore right now. Jack is going to be 6 months old tomorrow and boy has that time flown! It was such a big deal for Charlotte to have to welcome a little brother into her life but she has done it with such love and complete adoration that I really do feel so blessed. She just absolutely adores her brother. Although you cannot see her face in the picture, you can see the love through her positioning. The closeness to him that she requires, cuddling together. Her little hand touching his arm. It just makes me melt. I love capturing moments like this through my photos and then telling the story, after all, it is these little moments that are why we create and why I really do love this hobby so much.

Here is the full layout:

Layout title - *Perfection*

Products used:
Papers; Pink Paislee 'Bella Rouge' collection, White card stock, Vellum
Embellishments; Pink Paislee 'Bella Rouge' chipboard stickers & die cut pack, doily
Other; sewing machine, white thread, Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

And the process video…

I love the dimension that can be created by layering elements and folding the sides.

Those little vellum butterflies, and a close up of the chipboard sticker frames. The frames were the inspiration for my layout design and where I began when creating the page.

Thanks for checking in today :) I am feeling very inspired and hope to be back soon with another share.
