Today I am here to share a layout that I created using the stunning Memorandum collection by Pink Paislee. This collection contains so many fun and UNIQUE embellishments that they really push you to have fun and think outside the box a little.
For my layout today I decided to focus on the stunning frame pack which contains 8 frames in total, 4 small and 4 large, all with different designs. As soon as I received this pack I just knew I had to create with them and focus them on one layout. It not only leads to a lovely grid design, but of course also allows you to document more than one photo.
I created my journaling by typing on American Crafts white card stock and cutting it into a strip design. I love how quick it is to use a typewriter, but I love even more the effect it gives. For the title 'ONE!', I felt like it was not going to make enough impact if I just adhered it straight to the card stock. I decided to create layers with a label, some of the patterned paper and vellum. This gave the title a bit more of a grounding and helps it fit better on the page. I had some American Crafts gold glitter paper in my stash and decided to punch out some circles and stars, to add further gold to the layout and tie the frames in.
I did some layering around one of the frame, adding some punched pieces, clear stickers, and other embellishments from the collection. I used the negative spots on the frame to add elements like the date.
The design of the patterned paper was a strip design that combined prints from all the papers in the collection. I decided to use both sides of that paper in a vertical design. I love how easily that let me incorporate a variety of colours into the layout.
My favourite part of this layout would definitely have to be the frames. They are so shiny and pretty. It was super easy for me to find photos that fit within the frames. I adhered one to the card stock with foam tape to pop it off the page and make it stand out that little more.
Thanks for visiting my blog today. I hope you have learned a fun way of using the frames and papers in this collection.
