Cocoa Vanilla Studio Design Team!

Hey everyone,

I am beyond excited to share my news with you today! I was lucky to be selected as one of the eleven ladies to design for new Australian Manufacturer Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Owner Zoe has designed scrapbooking products and fabric lines for different companies for many years, including My Mind's Eye and Kaisercraft. She dreamed to create her own little company and now its her reality. She has just released two new lines, perfect for scrapping those little ones, lucky I have two cute lil subjects!

Heres the 2015 team :)

I can't wait to receive these collections and begin creating! I am sure I will be back to share more really soon!

In the meantime, this is whats on my desk right now….

These two = Perfection

Today I decided to have a play with a recent scrappy purchase I'd made. The Bella Rouge collection by Pink Paislee. This collection is truly after my heart with the pink, white, grey tones and pop of black. So so pretty. Plus the icons in the die cut and chipboard packs = too cute! Perfect for my style.

As you saw from my previous post yesterday this collection had been sitting calling my name since last night.

I decided at the last minute to create a process video also for this layout. You can find it below the full layout share here.

This photo was only taken on the 15th of January. It is rare for me to scrapbook such a recent photo however this picture sums up everything I just totally adore right now. Jack is going to be 6 months old tomorrow and boy has that time flown! It was such a big deal for Charlotte to have to welcome a little brother into her life but she has done it with such love and complete adoration that I really do feel so blessed. She just absolutely adores her brother. Although you cannot see her face in the picture, you can see the love through her positioning. The closeness to him that she requires, cuddling together. Her little hand touching his arm. It just makes me melt. I love capturing moments like this through my photos and then telling the story, after all, it is these little moments that are why we create and why I really do love this hobby so much.

Here is the full layout:

Layout title - *Perfection*

Products used:
Papers; Pink Paislee 'Bella Rouge' collection, White card stock, Vellum
Embellishments; Pink Paislee 'Bella Rouge' chipboard stickers & die cut pack, doily
Other; sewing machine, white thread, Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

And the process video…

I love the dimension that can be created by layering elements and folding the sides.

Those little vellum butterflies, and a close up of the chipboard sticker frames. The frames were the inspiration for my layout design and where I began when creating the page.

Thanks for checking in today :) I am feeling very inspired and hope to be back soon with another share.

Workspace Wednesday

Well just a quick pop in to share a few pictures of what I have been up to.

I have been hanging out to spend a little creative time in my craft room. It was looking so inviting this morning

But the kiddies required me today (teething boy and feeling unwell girl) which mean't I couldn't sneak off for a hour or so. So instead I had a go at making my dribbly little boy a couple of bandana bibs.
Was happy with how they turned out but will adapt pattern for next ones I make.

Hoping to still get into my space later this evening once the two bubbas are settled, lets see how I go.

Jot Magazine - January Mood Board

Today I am here to share the layout I completed for the January Jot Magazine Mood Board. The minute I saw this mood board I was instantly inspired!  I was drawn in by the confetti, bright colours and the pops of gold on the ends of the confetti sticks.
Here is the layout I created:

Layout title: Hello Bubba

Products used:
Papers; White card stock, plain vellum, Studio Calico paper, We R Memory Keepers Paper, AC Dear Lizzy Paper.
Embellishments; Heidi Swapp acetate words, AC Thicker Alphabet, We R Memory Keepers wood veneer, Studio Calico bow, Freckled Fawn arrow, D-lish Scraps peg, white doily, gold sequins.
Other: Black ink, date stamp, sewing machine, white thread, silhouette machine, I heart Studio cut files, foam tape, typewriter.

Here are some close ups:

I loved combining the Heidi acetate word with my thickers title. Just a perfect touch.

Here's a close up of the sequin shaker pockets within the layout. I heart this We R coffee veneer piece!

All the layers and subject of this layout - my lil girl!

Make sure you pop on over to the Jot Magazine blog to join in on this challenge.
