Bloom with Wild at Heart by Cocoa Vanilla

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a layout with you as part of Seasons week here on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog. For this layout today I was inspired by Spring flowers and have documented a little family day at a Lavender Farm where Charlotte enjoyed picking daisies in the field. The Wild at Heartcollection was perfect for documenting this moment.

Here is the layout I created:

The main element of the page apart from the photo is the daisy cut file that I downloaded from the Silhouette store. I used the Memento paper to back the daisy flower heads – I really wanted to incorporate the mustard colour from the collection onto this page so I stuck the cut file onto the flowers with that colour. I added the circle ‘wild at heart’ chipboard to mimic the flower centre. I also added a cluster to the top left of the page which incorporates a fussy cut butterfly (from the Mariposa paper).
The title is made up of a combination of embellishments; the wood veneer, the ephemera pack and a tiny word sticker from the Accessory stickers sheet. I added some finishing touches to the title area with some more veneer pieces, another fussy cut butterfly, and some enamel dots.
For the photo, I have layered it on top of the Luscious patterned paper and the Patchwork pattered paper. I love to add tabs to the top of or side of my photos. It it so easy to do this with a stapler and I like the detail it brings it too.
To frame the entire layout I have used the Luscious patterned paper. It gave it a nice finishing touch by bordering the entire thing. I also added some machine stitching around the edge too.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
