Show us your stuff - February

This months challenge was quite a challenge as I tried to keep my layering and embellishments to a minimum.

The challenge is to:
Use at least 3 pieces of patterned paper
Use 3 embellishments
Use at least 1 heart
Use some paint somewhere on your layout!

Well - it is nearing that time of the month where the second portion of the Show us your Stuff challenges are set.

The challenge this month was tricky for me, when you see it you may know why!

Here's a sneak!

I have been working on an article for the 'Scrapbook Magazine' and I must say, it's so nice to be scrapping again! Missed it, mojo's flowing so better not let it fade away.

The lil venture 'A Piece of Cake designs' is plodding along fine, lots of bits and pieces have arrived here which is exciting! Can't wait to share more sneaks.

A Competition! Win the debut kit from 'A Piece of Cake Designs' ....details here....

Well I have a little secret that has always been a goal of mine and whose idea was formed during my overseas trip to London and Europe back in late 2009 / early 2010. Since returning home from overseas I decided to start putting plans in motion to make this goal a reality.

So.....over the past 6 months (in amongst the other hustle and bustle, new house, wedding, honeymoon etc....I have been working on this little baby. I have always loved scrapbooking (obviously), but I LOVE working with the patterns and colours available in products. I have a bit of a 'flair' in combining and layering a variety of colours so to do this as a bit of a hobby business was something very exciting and tempting for me. Not only do I love scrapping, but I also have a little bit of a sweet tooth and from that 'A Piece of Cake Designs' was formed.

My goal is to provide people with a funky, scrumptious monthly scrapbooking kit that is jam packed with papers and cool embellies that are combined in a unique way that appeals to the scrappers out there! I want my kits to be set apart from the rest, to contain that extra something that makes you just 'want it all' and want to gobble it all up! But, because all the hard work of combining and creating unique colour combinations and brands will be done for you, it should be appealing and be 'a piece of cake' to start scrapping and creating in this busy world we live in!

Can't wait to get stuck into this new venture and I'm very excited to share this with my fellow followers :)
To celebrate and coincide with the release of 'A Piece of Cake Designs' debut kit and my 28th Birthday I decided to run a little giveaway!

I am giving away to one lucky person, the very yummy and scrumptious debut kit from 'A Piece of Cake Designs'; my new venture and baby. To enter in the draw read and follow the details below.
