I'm super excited to be participating in day 2 of Altenew's 5th Anniversary Blog Hop, thanks for inviting me Altenew! I think I calculated that this is my 3rd Anniversary hop that I have taken part in, I feel very blessed to be a friend of Altenew.
Now, after your stop at Nancy McClelland’s post, its now my turn to give you some Altenew inspiration. To create my layout today I used the new Live your Dream Scrapbook Kit by Altenew.
Here is the layout I created to share with you today:
The subject of my layout was myself, which isn't normally a subject on my scrapbook pages. However, life over the past six months or so has been a little bit life changing. I have returned to work full time and am now juggling home life and work life. I have also made my health a priority so I am not only feeling better physically, but mentally too. This is the story I wanted to document on this page. 
I could not go past the amazing floral paper in the kit. Due to scrapbooking 8.5x11" in size I had to cut the 12x12" design down to suit. However, I was able to manipulate and cut the remaining left over papers so I could add extra floral images to the right side of the page.
I wanted embellishments to layer under my circular photo. I used the clear floral stickers and leaves in the kit to add some extra detail. I made sure to choose the orange and pink in colour florals and the blue leaves, so it complimented the rest of the layout.
The large chipboard floral piece has been a favourite of mine ever since I received this kit. I had wanted to make it a feature on this page.
I love to type my journaling on my typewriter. It makes it an easy way to add my story.
