Happy Valentines Day - a layout of love using Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Hey everyone,

HAPPY Valentine's Day!!!!

I'm here with you today sharing a nee t layout featuring the new and beautiful More than Words collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. This collection has started to hit stores and it is just truly and absolutely stunning! Being Valentines day, I couldn’t resist sharing a layout documenting Hubby and I. It is rare for him and I to get photos together as it is normally me behind the camera, so whenever we do, I am bound to document them.

Here is the layout I created:
My layout was actually inspired by the February Jot Magazine mood board. The colours and theme of this board worked so well with the More than Words collection that the match was just perfect. I decided to use the Effervescent paper to frame my whole layout. I love the soft grey chevron pattern and it added a nice finishing touch to the whole layout.

The photo was taken last December on a short family getaway we had. Such awesome memories that we are making together as a little family, I could not imagine doing it with anyone else.

The design of the layout is mainly on a diagonal with my photo and cut file details in the top left corner. The cut files were free from the Paper Issues store. I added a small doily behind my photo to add an extra element of softness to the page, and embellished the photo with a chipboard banner and heart.

The ‘love you to bits’ heart was cut from the ‘Treasure’ cut apart patterned paper. I loved the saying and also liked that it repeated the shape of hearts that I had going on on this layout. I also added some of the gorgeous Vellum ephemera to this page. So so pretty! Aren’t the enamel shapes just the perfect finishing touch!

For part of the title I used the word ‘you’ from the black chipboard stickers pack and the ‘my darling’ from the ephemera pack.

The tiny word stickers from the Accessory sticker sheet are always a perfect addition of text and journaling to a page. I loved that I was able to create a phrase ‘with all my heart, I simply adore you always’. I added one of the flair buttons also that says ‘you are loved’.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today. I hope you have been inspired by my layout.
