Hey everyone, I'm here today to share a layout I completed for Cocoa Vanilla Studio that I had not yet shared with you. For this layout, I delved back into my Cocoa Vanilla goodies to one of my favourite collections
‘Hello Lovely’ and teamed that with the new cut files available in the CVS store.
I used the pattern in the
Delightful paper to cut out the floral design that I have used at the top of the page. To add some detail and dimension, I have folded up the edges.
To the left of the photo (4×6″ in size) I have clustered some of the cut files,
vellum hearts, and
enamel dots. To easily attach the vellum hearts I have just used a stapler, my preferred stapler is a tiny attacher as I prefer the smaller size staples.
To the right of the photo I have added another cluster. This also has a mixture of cut files and enamel dots, but also encompasses the
stickers and
flair from the collection.
The bottom of the page required something to help draw your eye to the photo and this is where the layout design evolved. By putting a triangular piece in the bottom right corner it works as a tool to direct your eyes back into the centre of the layout. Along this triangle I also added some other elements to help me form a visual triangle on my layout. I repeated the same items within the cluster; cut files, die cuts, vellum hearts and enamel dots.
The entire photo mat was adhered to the page with a foam adhesive to add dimension to that area. All the layered cut files, which contain flowers and leaves, give so much detail.
Thanks for stopping my blog today!
