Blue Fingers - May Hip Kits

Hey everyone,

I am here today sharing my latest layout for Hip Kits with you all. For this layout I have used the May kits.

To create this layout I used a cut file from the Cut Shoppe. This photo is one I took of my little girl who was eating a blue lolly, now this was a lolly I won't be buying again. We had blue tongues and fingers for days! But I do love the picture I managed to capture of her.
The 'the story' journal spot was cut from one of the 3x4" cards in the Project life kit. I fussy cut it out and added the journaling by running it through my typewriter.

I added some chipboard embellishments from the Bella Boulevard pack, the Echo Park enamel dots and Jillibean Soup wood veneer.

I loved all the dimension I was able to create through layering the various embellishments. To help the whole layout pop off the page, I added foam dimension to the cut file base. Through adding the foam I was able to add the ephemera and chipboard pieces at varying heights.

The Jillibean soup word pieces were a nice finishing touch, how cute is that chipboard vase?

I love nothing more than a layered cluster of embellishments.

The title was added using the Bella Boulevard letter stickers. They coordinated beautifully with the blue in the lolly from the photo.

This image gives you a good view of the dimension achieved on this layout.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
