In the Summertime with Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Hey everyone. I'm here with you today sharing a layout I created using the Hello Sunshine collection. This bright and fun collection is one of my faves. I just love how versatile it is. I can create masculine or feminine layouts and of course document our beautiful summers. Perfect timing to share this layout while we are experiencing dreaded cold days!

This layout was actually one of the layouts I taught at the recent Brisbane Scrapbook Expo. It features a just because photo of my little man. I just adores this cheeky smile.

To the left of the photo I added a cluster of ephemera and stickers. I also added a wood ephemera and a couple of enamel shapes from the collection.

The stars on the page are adapted from the Colour me Happy cut files which I welded together in a diagonal design and then backed with the papers in the collection. I adhered them to the page with a dimensional adhesive.

I added a small triangle to the bottom left of the page this helps to draw your attention back into the photo and works the design into a visual triangle which is a technique I use often.

I also added a cluster to the right of the photo which incorporates some of the stickers, ephemera and veneer. The sticker ‘in the summertime’ acts as the title for this page. Lots of foam adhesive helps these embellishments to pop off the page.

Thanks for for stopping by. I recently received a box full of the stunning Love always collection which I can’t wait to play with!!!
